How AI Can Help Us To Be More Curious

AI is great at showing us patterns, making connections, and filling in gaps—but that doesn’t mean it’s always right

Inspired by Jonathan Briggs’s ‘Eight Better Ways to Work with LLMs’ , and it got me thinking— How can we push AI to expand our curiosity rather than just confirm what we already know?

So, I created my own take on this idea.

Curiosity Beyond the Light: Exploring the Unknown with AI

Alone, we see only what our own light reveals. What we know is limited to what we choose to explore.

AI stretches your vision, fills in the gaps. But don’t mistake coverage for clarity.

To go beyond the obvious, we must push AI to challenge, contradict, and reveal what’s missing. However, it gives us what’s most likely, not what’s most insightful.

Two perspectives sharpen the picture. Challenge assumptions. Compare contradictions. Find what neither of you saw alone.

AI helps light up the known. But its real value isn’t in confirming what we see — it’s in stepping into the unknown and questioning the unseen.

AI fills in gaps, but it doesn’t question them. What’s the biggest blind spot you might be missing?

Let’s chat—how do you use AI to think beyond the obvious? 🚀
